I have been having constant problems with the power door locks on my car unlocking when they're not supposed to, either when I'm driving, or after the security system (SecuriKey+, distributor installed) has been activated. Also, power lock button on driver's door occasionally fails to unlock the doors. When the doors are unlocked, I can sometimes hear the mechanism within the doors “clicking”, even when the car is turned off. I have taken it to two Toyota service departments seven times since last November. All "repairs" have been temporary, lasting from two months to two weeks. I get a different diagnosis each time. The actuator is the only part that Toyota has replaced. Though I’ve only been out a $72 diagnostic fee, a lot of my time has been wasted trying to get this fixed.
