Corolla S 1.8L I4 Na

  • Automatic transmission
  • 142,000 miles

The AC would blow WARM AIR on full blast and needed to get up to speed on the highway to even feel the slightest bit of cold air coming out of the vents. This repair cost me anywhere around $65-$120 to fix. If you can do it yourself, it'd cost around $30-40. The car was just old and needed free-on in the system since it had run completely dry.

My wife noticed while driving to work, the a/c stopped cooling. She noticed it was intermittent. After a little research I found that this year was prone to having an a/c clutch relay failure. I found part # 35874 at the parts store and replaced the relay under the hood called the MB CLT. Started the car, turned the a/c on....Works perfect again. Awesome car still!
