TL. the contact owns a 2004 Toyota Corolla. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer to have a recall repair for the visibility:glass, side/rear (08V162000). Before taking the vehicle to the dealer the contact stated both window had malfunctioned. The dealer performed the recall repair to the front driver side window but not the front passenger side window due to extensive damage that can not be repaired under the recall. That contact stated the front passenger side window will not stay closed. The contact stated the front passenger side window was closed upon arriving to the dealer. The dealer stated to the contact the regulator needs to be replaced. The contact stated the manufacturer should be responsible for the repairs since this is a manufacturer defect. The failure mileage was 80,000.
