Rear end collision involving 2004 Toyota Corolla and Nissan xterra. Upon collision the car's engine was revving and the ignition had to be turned off to get the car to stop moving. The entire front end of the Corolla was damaged and the air bags did not deploy. Not sure if the accelerator stuck. Definitely think the air bags should have deployed. The Corolla was totaled.

Car accident:hit a wall at 45M/H or higher, air bags did not deploy and front passenger had a lot of bruises on the chest, arm, stomach and pain for several weeks. Driver had and elbow problem with pain and enable him to lift heavy weight, because all the impact force was supported by his arms on the steering wheel.

: the contact stated while driving 45 mph toward an intersection, the contact felt lightheaded, and collided with an immobile vehicle at the stop sign. The contact depressed the brakes, prior to the collision, but was unable to avoid the accident. The air bags did not deploy, however the seat belt restrained the contact. There were no warning lights illuminated prior to the accident. The contact suffered a strained neck. The police and fire department were present but the contact refused to be taken to a hospital. A police report was taken. The owner's manual stated the air bags should deploy at a minimum of 25 mph. The police officer ordered the vehicle not to be driven because the air bags could suddenly deploy. The vehicle was towed to a body shop to be later be inspected by the insurance company. The dealership and the manufacturer would be contacted.
