The contact owns a 2004 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that there was a foul odor coming from the climate system. The contact called Toyota and was told that there was a technical service bulletin for the climate system. They also told him that the estimated repair cost was $1000 to replace the entire air conditioner unit. The warranty expired. Claim #1001136140 was filed with Toyota. The failure mileage was 42,000.
