Last week while I was driving my car the airbag light came on. I was so worried for my safety to drive my car. I went online to search if my car had a airbag recall and it did. I made an appointment with the Toyota dealership to do the repair. While I was waiting there they told me that my car had another problem, I was supposed to replace the spiral cable (code B1811). If I didn't replace that the airbag light was still going to be there and the airbag wasn't going to work if I replace them. The horn on my car hasn't been working for so many years and I didn't know that was connected with the spiral cable assembly. I paid $510.22 to replace that. I'm the only owner for that car. Toyota company should have a recall for the spiral cable because it is connected to the airbag and we as a customer should not pay for replacement.my car had 11 recalls so far. Other Toyota's have recalls for the same problem but not with 2005 year old Toyota's.

On February 4, 2020, I took my Toyota Corolla to jim norton Toyota of okc, 8401 nw expressway, Oklahoma city, ok 73162, (405) 721-1911, for a safety recall. They did work on my car. They said that they did replace the air bag, but it would not work if I was in an accident. The air bag light is on, indicating that the wire related to it needed to be replaced. They said the cost of doing the wire replacement is not covered by the recall. It would cost about $700 to have the wire replaced. It seems that the wire replacement should have been done with the original bag replacement since it won't work without it. Am I required to pay the $700 to get the airbag in proper working order? the recall notice says that the remedy for the safety recall will be performed free of charge to me.

The airbag warning light came on when I started the car and stayed on. I contacted the dealer and found out that my vehicle was under recall for the airbag. I took it in and had that repair done, but the warning light did not go off. The dealer said it needs a new spiral cable assembly, at a cost of nearly $500. The dealer said the airbag may not inflate during a crash. In searching the internet for information about this repair, I discovered that other Toyota are under recall for this same problem. I would like my vehicle to be considered for inclusion in this recall and the cost of repair covered.

As I was pulling into a parking lot I began to step on the brakes and the car would not stop. I had no choice but to crash into a wall causing a major injuries to my body and car. The car would no longer start and I had to tow the car to my home until a mechanic came to start the car and we had noticed that when the car is in park it will keep going.

Takata recall - I took my car to make the labor because the takata recall and few month later the light of the air bag in the front panel is on (red). Then I take my other car (the same model and year except for the color) and happen the same thing. Today both cars have the airbag light on. No body have found why, but it was after the labor because of the recall of the airbags. I dont remember right now the specific date.
