Reported problem to Toyota dealer where car was purchased and to Toyota customer service in Torrance, Calif. Took car to Toyota dealer who verified car needed strut at my expense. Offered no compromise--ditto Toyota Customer Service. Dealer advised they had never replaced a strut on 2005 Corolla. Dealer advised I needed only the LF strut. My mechanic advised he would not replace just 1 strut as new and strut with 43,500 miles on it might throw car right off the highway. I have never replaced a strut on the 15-20 cards I have driven in past 50 years---mostly new or Company cars. This my 1st Toyota and was purchased due to its dependability reputation which just went down the tubes in my opinion. I will cross my fingers and hope this is my last problem for next 14 months. It has given me good gas mileage---35 MPG on average

I my having a toyota Corolla 2005 H5 model and have done 60000 kilometers. The problem i am facing these days is that the clutch is getting very hard of the car and make noise and the right axle of the car makes a noise which irritates me alot and also facing problem with the suspension and my pocket does not allow to get it repaired from the company as i think they will ask for a lot of money for repairing but the thing is the car has done just 60000 k.m which should be nothing for this type of car.
