Toyota Corolla, wife complained about inlaws car steering being sloppy sometimes. I drove it to investigate problem. Driving in straight line no evidence of any problems. When driving slalom fashion steering felt very sloppy and suspected power steering. Brought back to home and did a check of tire pressure which was about 12 psi in the back on both sides but font pressure within spec. Adjusted the rear tires and problem disappeared.. I heard of NHTSA investigating this problem and wanted to report my findings that low pressure can severely effect the steering on this model.
