I purchased toyota genuine front shockabsorber pair from Toyota Lanka in Mar 2013. At the time of replacing the part it was noticed that the sold part no is not tallying with the same avialable in the car. When inquired the matter from Toyota Lanka staff they confirmed that they have supplied the correct part.

Based on the confirmation, the purchased new parts were fixed. However, since I was not convinced about the confirmation given by Toyota Lanka, on the following day I searched the parts catalogue in the net and found out that my car had the correct part and Toyota Lanka had supplied me an incorrect part that is having a smaller shaft size.

A complaint was then raised to Toyota Lanka and subsequently made several more complaints relating to vehicle handling problems and finally they refused to provide me a replacement in correct part.

I have say that Toyota Lanka service is very poor and they mislead people big time.
