Since I have had the car I had an issues. I have changed the transmission twice. It used to blow threw brake pads until I paid to have that repaired. Oil consumption was a quart now my piston isn't working. I called Toyota even about safety bag recall which never got fixed. I was told there were no recalls on my car and everything was fine. When I told about air bag recall I saw on the news I was told they will be sending all the information in the mail. It never came. I would like have my money back. The cost of repairs. I have always bought Toyota. This has been unfair not letting your customer receive the repairs due to them for installing faulty parts. I have done everything and now I need to get a new piston. 02/082020

Yesterday our 2007 Toyota Corolla(13,000) stopped dead in flow of traffic on a highway-luckily we merged to shoulder narrowly missing being hit by traffic. The car was fixed w/ a new computer system. Checking if others had this problem it turns out that diagnostic code P0607 has a very bad & significant history with 2007 Corolla-cars just die!!! but no recall. We almost died and similar situations have been reported.

Driving on --185N in columbus, ga car (2007 Toyota Corolla) stalled without warning all systems shut down;put car in park on median took car to dealer on Monday (3/29/2010) dealer said it was an electronic control module it's warranteed up to 80,000 miles my car has 65,000 miles doing research, found out this problem is common in 2006-2007 corrolla models salesman told us nothing about it no one reported repeated problems (maybe by the time they did, they bought a new car) by keep trying to crank the car to get it to a safe spot off the road, all the crankings eventually caused the starter to go bad hadn't replaced starter yet, but replacing starter expense due to electrical problem had to come out of my pocket check engine light code is: P0607 control module performance (ECM) was replaced

My 2007 Toyota Corolla just quit running and I was stranded in the middle of rush hour traffic. Three men pulled over to help me. One stopped traffic while the other two pushed me out of traffic into a nearby parking lot. I called aaa, who sent a truck which towed me to tao auto in cary, nc. Tao auto told me Monday that it was a computer problem, so I had my car towed to fred anderson Toyota in raleigh, nc. Fred anderson said the computer in my car had malfunctioned, so they replaced it under warranty. They were prompt and courteous. This is a dangerous type of failure - had it happened ten minutes earlier, I would have been stranded in the middle lane of five lanes of heavy traffic on I-40, all moving at about 70 mph. I could have been killed along with other people in the cars around me.
