- the contact owns a 2007 Toyota Corolla. When attempting to shift gears he would depress the brake pedal and the clutch simultaneously. The contact feels this problem is occurring due to the clutch and the brake pedal being too close to each other. The contact also stated he has a problem depressing the clutch due to a hump located on the floor board next to the clutch. The manufacturer stated that that was the design of the vehicle. The current mileage was 3,000 miles.
