while driving the car accelerates faster on its own
The problem of the car suddenly accelerating on its own has gone on for about 1 yr. The car has spent time if various car workshops and I have spent a lot of money trying to find out the cause of the problem. Its a very dangerous situation which could easily lead to a fatal accident. Car is parked for now till I can find a solution.

Whenever my 2007 Toyota Corolla CE was driven, the gas pedal seems to accelerate without pressing my foot on the gas pedal which really did scare me. I could drive 1/2 mile to 1 mile without using the gas pedal uphill or downhill.
Other persons have driven the Corolla with me as a passenger and stated the above also and also experienced this.
