The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated the gear shift selector fractured from the vehicle while placing the selector in drive from the reverse position. The contact stated the selector felt as if it were loose before reversing. The dealer advised he had never experienced a failure similar to hers and was unable to provide a remedy for the failure. The vehicle was left with the dealer where the contact was awaiting a remedy. The failure mileage and current mileages were 39,000. Updated 7/20/10 updated 07/23/10
