Driver side front wheel bearing has been replaced every year. The problem started in 2015. They will not even last full year. Now as of current 5/27/2020 today had to replace the driver side wheel bearing again. This ridiculous. Has cost lots of money. Maybe somebody should look into this issue. Starts making a grinding noise at 35mph and continues to get louder longer you drive it. But it does not occur when you are stopped.

Flat tire. Vehicle came with Toyota aluminum or non-steel rims. Supplied, lug nut wrench does not fit lug nuts. Could not install spare tire. This could be a problem in a blowout or if the nail came out of the tire, especially in no cell phone areas(no bars). Got a 22mm socket but it is loose, 21mm does not fit.

On a rainy October 28, 2012 Sunday, I was traveling on rte. 73, in moorsetown, NJ and I attempted to get off 73 and go down the rte. 295 N ramp. As I went down the ramp, I put on my brakes to slow down and all of a sudden it felt like my car was flying. The brakes locked up, the car spun around and crashed into the curb so hard on the drivers side, that it totaled the back and front rims of my tires. Then once I thanked god for not letting there be any cars around me and letting me be alright, then I attempted to move the car. I backed the car up a little bit then pressed down on brake to change gear into drive and turned steering wheel away from curb, and my car flew to the other side of the ramp and crashed into the curb on the passengers side of which damaged the front rim on that side and through all of this the air bag never ejected. I could kind of understand that it was wet and the car hydroplaned before first crash. But I don't understand how before the car took off the second time while I had my foot on the brake and barely moving, brakes were completely locked up. At this point I was scared to move the car again, so I just cut the car off and sat there for a while, then turned it back on, then it felt like brakes were alright when I pressed down on it. I took my car back to the dealer I bought it from and asked them to check the brakes and of course they said that it was nothing wrong with them. At this point and time, I do not trust this car, but I do trust god to keep me safe in this car or else I wouldn't even drive it after that episode. I needed to get 3 new rims, 1 tire, a hub cap and wheel alignment for my car and I just thank god that there was no other damages. And now I'm just waiting on the lord to give me the opportunity to get a SUV and it won't be a Toyota.

2007 Toyota Corolla steel rim issues. I have had problems twice with the steel rims on my car and am afraid there will be more as my car ages. The rims rust. I turned a corner too sharp and barely grazed the concrete, which bent the wheel rim and caused my tire to blow out, and I had to replace that tire. Now, I hit a pothole, and entire wheel rim buckled, tore my tire to bits, and it was almost impossible to find a replacement rim for my car. I could not locate one online, could not get a return phone call from sam swope's Toyota dealership to try to see if the part could be ordered, but I was able to get another dealer to sell me one at a whopping $141 including tax. I was driving on city streets when I hit that pothole and was going at a slow speed. Had this happened on the expressway, I'd be dead. Now that I look at all of the rims on my car, every rim is bent somewhere along the edges. The metal on these rims is of the poorest quality I have ever seen. I'd expect steel to hold up better than this, and this is a potentially dangerous problem when steel rims buckle, destroy your tire and you can loose control of your car. I am also afraid that this isn't' the last of my problems with these rims. I believe this is going to happen again, and it is almost impossible to find another rim for my particular car. I am being told by every junkyard that my car is too new for them to have parts for it. The rims are also unaffordable if you can find them. Not only did I have to buy the rim at a cost of $141, but I had to purchase another tire and pay for mounting and balancing. So, the cost is now over $200 to fix my just hitting a small pothole, and louisville, ky, is loaded with potholes everywhere. If these rims continue rusting, is that going to affect my braking ability too?

It was normal sunny day and smooth traffic I was driving Toyota Corolla(2007) on I-295 North in NJ and was on leftmost lane @ around 70 mph in hamilton area near exit 65. Then suddenly it went out of control spinning around on highway. It went spinning from left most lane to right shoulder spinning 2-3 times. Luckily no body was injured and no other vehicle was involved but my car had to be totaled I requested car company (Toyota) to properly inspect the vehicle if it had any issues with software and also brakes as there was no reason for spinning while driving around 70mph. Considering the way car spun at that time it was evident locking of front wheels suddenly may be the one of the reasons. Company never contacted me back again they had promised to get back to me after inspection was done by company inspector/engineer.

As of this date there is no failure but my 2007 Toyota Corolla's wheels are rusting. I am very concerned that these wheels could be made of the same steel that Toyota made the Tundra's frame out of. I have noticed several other Corolla's with this same rusty wheel issue. I tried to get my dealer "champion Toyota" to resolve this but they refuse, my car is still under warranty.

I would like to make a formal complaint about my 2007 Toyota Corolla. I purchased my car in January 2007. I'm having problems with my vehicle. The is a vibration I feel coming from the steering wheel. My car stopped on the li expressway due to 2 sensors that no longer worked.
