I can't stand large dealerships that take advantage of their customers. That is exactly what Toyota is. I have taken good care of my 2008 Toyota Corolla and never had problems with it. I got a letter in the mail stating I have a recall on my car and should bring it in to be fixed at no cost to me. While there was no immediate cost, however as soon as they replaced my ECM computer chip my check engine light came on as soon as I left the dealership. I knew this had to be a direct cause of the computer replacement, so I called and scheduled another appointment with them to see why my light was on. They set me an appointment 5 days after my original visit where they gave me a couple quotes for the possible damage to my car, which they are saying they had nothing to do with. Now they are saying it is possibly my knock sensor or my wiring harness that needs to be replaced, ranging in price from $500 to $1400. This is just a huge pain and the more frustrating part is that Toyota is not taking responsibility for their mistakes, which makes me angry. I bought this car because I needed something dependable and reliable. This has not been the case.

Recall on ecm. My car only had one recall dine ever since nothing. I think it may be a ecm recall but after 312000 don't think they worry much. I also have a airbag light that comes on.
