problem #1

Corolla SE 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

Update:

Apparently my water pump and timing chains broke simultaneously. After spending $ for a new water pump and serpentine belt did I find out that I need a new motor. The timing system is off. This was my third visit and tow to the mechanic shop/roadside assistance. What a shame! I am very livid about replacing a motor for a vehicle with only 75,000 miles. Its a shame that after paying a vehicle off, I am left with forking over thousands of dollars or trying to trade in a vehicle that needs a new motor. Apparently Toyotas are not as reliable of a car as their past heritage projects.
