I paid to replaced my charcoal canister and the new part from Toyota is faulty. Check engine light was back on within two months and I'm currently fighting with them to warranty it. So I might have to replace it again out of pocket. Charcoal canister obviously has a faulty piece!

Update from Jul 6, 2014: Paid over $600 for the original replacement. The dealer honoured the warranty on the part but I was on the hook to pay for the additional labour to replace the replacement. They told me it happened because I "topped off my tank after the pump clicked off while pumping gas". Even when I told them that I literally have never done that they insisted that's the only reason that the part would go. Sigh.
