Takata recall this is taking far too long to get replaced. Toyota has informed me that they need to replace the air bag (which could kill me, I live in the South and it's the area most likely to have faulty airbags as I understand it). I understand the huge undertaking this airbag recall involves for all car companies including Toyota but at what point will this faulty deadly equipment ever be replaced" a year? five? is there even a point if a recall takes so long the car dies of old age first"

Takata airbags - I received a recall notice from Toyota in January stating that my car was under recall notice because of the defective takata airbags. I was told no one is supposed to sit in my passenger seat until the repair part is installed. It is six months later, and after talking with them today, they stated that the part would not be available until December. It is ridiculous that I cannot have anyone sit in my passenger seat for an entire year. Toyota should make the parts available to everyone in the country and take responsibility for their lack of safety testing.

Takata recall I received this recall and called the kearny mesa Toyota dealership address: 4910 kearny mesa rd, san diego, ca 92111phone:(858) 430-2600 on 05/09/17 and spoke to stephanie @ 7:22am, she said the parts weren't in and will be ordered and should arrive in 2 weeks ' that didn't happen ' no call. Then beginning of June 2017 called dealership and asked them regarding the parts ' still 'not' in. Why" in the recall notification: It says on the recall notification **what should you do?** pls. Contact any authorized Toyota dealer to schedule an appt. To have the remedy performed asap! until the remedy is performed, we recommend that you do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat. If the recall needs to get done asap, why aren't the parts in? dangerous and unsafe! I'm riding in passenger side with a defected airbag!!!? why" it is now mid-June and still on call from the dealership!!!!! I want to know why it takes so long to get parts! kearny mesa Toyota
