Takata recall according to my recall letter there is currently no solution and I will be notified when there is one. Meanwhile, the suggestion is that I not have anyone sit in the front passenger seat. This inhibits my life and driving habits greatly; particularly in Florida heat with no vents in the back seat.

Takata recall: How could this have a recall and your company is stalling to complete this recall when you are knowing that when driven we can get into a major fatal car accident with the airbags forcing pressure against our bodies and even can burn our face and moreso death can appear during this incident. I was so frightened to think I see the airbag 6 second light light up and blink driving on the highway. Thank the lord that nothing happened to cause an accident or a 36O turn multple crash on the rain, mudslide roads..

My air beg light come on and don't go away. I receive a letter from Toyota about air beg recall. They told me to go to local Toyota dealership and say they will fix it. I went there and they told they don't have the part and they will order it and told me to wait. Is been a year and they never call me back. I receive a second letter from Toyota about the same air beg recall and so L call the local dealership. They say the part is not available and tell me to wait. I don't think they doing anything about it. Because I'm driving down the road with a defects car, I'm constantly worry. I just want my car to be fix before is too late.

We received notice for the recall concerning the air bag module. There is a "nationwide part shortage" and no information as to when the part will be available. It could be a week or month the dealer told me. In the meantime, my daughter is driving a vehicle that could have an airbag malfunction which is very concerning to me. Toyota is not fixing the defect in a reasonable amount of time so I wanted to submit a complaint.

My driver's side airbag light illuminated roughly 5 or 6 weeks ago. I called the Toyota dealership in which I purchased the car from back in 2011 and made an appointment to bring the car in to be looked at. When I arrived, I was basically told there was absolutely nothing they could do until the remedy for the recalled airbag became available. I then asked how long it would be, and was told it could be several more months. I have been driving my Corolla for several weeks now, since it is my only mode of transportation with a defective driver's side airbag. I have not received any more correspondence from Toyota since the first recall letter was mailed back in April of 2014. I am concerned with the danger that this problem poses and I do not see why Toyota cannot fix this problem being that the light is on. In the recall letter from Toyota it specifically states to contact the manufacturer immediately if the light becomes illuminated because it could pose a danger. I am afraid to drive the car as well as put my teenage daughter behind the wheel because of the fear of having a traffic accident and the airbag not deploying properly. Thank you for any assistance you may have.
