The dealer advised that the seat belts were manufactured in a manner where they were unable to make any repairs to the seat belt. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 23,000. Updated 10/27/10 the consumer stated the dealer refused to resolve the problem. Updated 11/01/10

The contact called the dealership and the dealer advised the contact to take the vehicle in for inspection. The current and failure mileages were approximately 20,000.
