The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated while the oil was being changed by an authorized dealer, he was informed that the power steering rack needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated the front passenger side wheel was shaking and the steering rack needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 44,000. Updated 03/21/2012
