Corolla LE V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 140,000 miles

I was happy originally to get this Toyota Corolla LE until it had several issues, including an engine issue that was fixed at a non dealership location. Apparently the car's system was close to having issues, but thankfully the engine issues were taken care of. The main issue was the wait for me. This is because at Toyota itself, they were not taking care of several of the engine issues.

Corolla LE 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

2nd cylinder lost compression

Original owner with 125K on a Corolla that has been maintained by the book (95% of the work done by Toyota). Oil consumption was not an issue until the failure (oil was low when failure occurred). Theory is cylinder 2 was burning oil and seized up. No warranty enhancement on this engine.
