Takata recall - when I visited the safecar.gov website to find out how to replace my airbags, the website instructed me that, "recall status: Recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available". it has been more than 6 months since I received the original notice, and I have been driving around with dangerous airbags that Toyota still can't repair?!

Takata recall, on July 23, 2016 I receive a letter from Toyota motor sales, Inc about the Toyota recall of the front passenger airbag inflator (zone a) and no further comunications are receive since. I am very concerned about the problem beacause they said that untl the remedy becomes available they recomend that we do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger. Aparently they are making corrections to new models and I want to know what happened with with my 2011 Toyota Corolla. I am using the vehicle daily in my home area and in the highway.

Takata recall. Our primary family car is affected by this recall, where the front passenger seat is unsafe for use due to malfunctioning air bag. Months after receiving notice of this issue, we still have not heard of a solution other than "don't use the front seat, " which isn't always feasible when the car is the main mode of transportation for a family with a child. This needs to be remedied, or some solution needs to be given. While the airbag hasn't been deployed, the fear of this happening is constant, and unnerving, especially as it is the main car for our use, used on a daily basis.

Takata recall NHTSA recall number: Opens new window takes away from VIN lookup section> 16V340 recall date: May 23, 2016 manufacturer recall number: G1P I feel that I am not being kept up to date on the airbag recall that has affected my daughters car. Besides being a total inconvenience this is a dangerous situation that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I had gone to the Toyota dealer where I purchased the car brand new in the summer of 2016 and felt I got a generic answer to the recall problem where that parts wouldn't be available until the spring of 2017 at the very least. That is not a good enough answer to me because I feel that they gave me that answer to calm me down. I would like a realistic date in which I can expect this recall part to be made available in my geographic area which was deemed a critical area of replacing air bags. All I want is information as to the expectations that I can have to anticipate a fix to this situation.
