I BOUGHT A NEW COROLLA IN DECEMBER 2013, THAT IS, 2013 MODEL, A RED CAR. IN 2013, ON A COLD DAY, MY CAR GOT FOGGED UP VERY BADLY. I TURNED ON MY AIR CONDITIONER AND DEFOGGER BUT NOTHING HAPPENED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. LATER I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER IN MY AREA. HE SAID THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR BUT I SHOULD NOT TURN THE DEFOGGER ON SINCE IT IS MEANT TO CLEAR ACCUMULATED FROST AND NOT FOG; INSTEAD, I SHOULD TURN THE A/C ON AND KEEP IT AT MEDIUM. THIS YEAR, A FEW DAYS AGO IN AUGUST, MY CAR GOT FOGGED UP AGAIN AND ALTHOUGH I TURNED ON THE A/C ONLY , NOTHING HAPPENED AND I HAD TO KEEP THE WINDOWS OPEN TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

THIS IS AWFUL BECAUSE HEAVY FOG CAN SEVERELY LIMIT THE DRIVER'S VISIBILITY AND CAUSE A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT. I WONDER IF ANY OF YOUR OTHER DRIVERS HAVE HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH THEIR COROLLA. WHEN THE PROBLEM REPEATS NEXT TIME , I WILL TRY TO TURN ON BOTH THE AC AND HEAT AND KEEP HEAT VERY LOW AND AC AT A MEDIUM LEVEL TO SEE IF THAT SOLVES MY PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN A DRIVER FOR ABOUT 35 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THIS , ALTHOUGH THIS IS THE THIRD TOYOTA I AM DRIVING. LOOKS LIKE THE PROBLEM MAY BE WITH THE NEW COROLLA MODELS ONLY.
