Corolla LS V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

I'm finding so many things wrong with this car, acceleration, brakes, visibility, ac. Only three years old and I'm tired of it already. My last two Corollas I kept for 5 and 9 years. I guess its time for a change.

Corolla L 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 17,196 miles

We have had the car 4 weeks. It has had the problem since we bought it (used) from the dealership at 17,196 miles. When accelerating, as the car is shifting gears (it's an automatic), if you remove your foot from the gas pedal to push the brakes to slow down, sometimes the car won't quit going into the next gear. It continues to rev the RPMs and revs even higher if you remove your foot from the brake and push the gas again.

It is doing this more frequently now. Sometime several times a day. At first, we thought maybe we were accidentally knocking the gearshift handle, but that is not the case. We are going to take it back to the dealership.

I was cheated. I was sold the least costly Toyota for more than $17,500 while I was promised by the dealer that the full cost (partially on the left side door and bumpber) would be about $14,000. They gave me the papers to sign before they completed the content. I have been had!
