After trip home with new Toyota, felt a vibration or shimmy in the rear of the car. Returned to dealer for inspection and was informed they could not find anything. Asked if they checked balance of the tires and they did not. Several other complaints about tires only resulted in typical rotation resulting in shimmy moving to front.
At approximately 20000 miles, technician called to inform the problem was found. Communicated the tires were 'feathering'. When asked what that means, was told they were wearing prematurely. When I mentioned that this problem was happening from the beginning, I was told "good luck getting warranty work from the tire manufacturers".
I am finished with this dealer and will certainly never purchase a new Corolla again.
