Corolla S Plus 1.8L

  • CVT transmission
  • 25,106 miles

A/C produces bad odor, the dash/vents rattle a lot when no music is playing, and the A/C is weak when it's hot out when is when you would use it. It's useless that it cools great when it's cold or mild out. Also, I had to get my A/C pump replaced because when the car was at a stop light not moving the pump would stop working. These are shortcuts taken to meet the MPG but at the cost of a hot steamy sweaty driver. I also have to replace the cabin air filter much more often than recommended and this is not because I am a "severe or extreme conditioned driver" or drive on dirty roads. They just messed up in how the suction of air works. Expect the A/C to blow coldISH air in 10-15 miutes in 90F weather and good gold air in 30-35 mins.

Corolla LE 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission

Well, i'm tired of the smell I can't use the heater at full power because of the smell, I went to the dealer and I was told by the chief mechanic that the smell was normal, that the smell was because of the car in front of me, this guys really think that we the customer are idiots.

is the third corolla with the same problem 2006,2010 and now the 2014 model. the smell is like gas or coolant liquid, or exhaust gas, is hard for me to know exactly.
