Was approaching cars that stopped for a red light so put my foot on the brakes to slow down but car wouldn't stop. I wasn't going fast but it felt like my car sped up causing me to hit the car in front. Minor damage to the other car but the whole front of my car was pushed all the way in. My car was totaled. We were very lucky no serious injury happened other than soreness from the seat belts on our chest from going forward. If you saw a picture of our car you would consider us very lucky because it looked like it was a head on collision. Up to this point my 2014 Corolla had no problems and was serviced regularly.
