So wonderful having a new car and the moonroof breaks. It just opens or stops working at all.
Imagine! Going out to the store and you have to close it but it's broken and will stop responding. Of course, it'll start working when you take it into the dealer so they say they'll check it (they won't) and then they refuse to fix it for months on end.
Imagine having your car at risk of being robbed or cancelling plans as you can't close the moonroof as it stops working (but it'll magically work when you take it in).
Imagine it breaking but then the dealer refuses to even close the moon roof so you can still have your precious little hours out of the office to finish errands before long and endless fixes.
Imagine the wonderful fix of replacing the ECU - Electronic Control Unit and the Motor for the moonroof. Then having the mechanics drag oil stains all over your new car making it filthy and dirty and refusing to clean the car.
Imagine having the fix then not fix it as a new issue comes up from the above fix which makes the moonroof unusable.
Imagine the fix of the moonroof then having the dash/sides coming apart on the top and not seamless as they did a terrible job to fix this (even with the protection plan I have to fix this).
Imagine beyond all the above, I have to go to extremes to prove an issue comes up to get something fixed and then have to wait weeks because Toyota drags their feet to fix anything and refuse to fix it under the protection plans (which they drag out in hopes of having your protection plan expire). Beyond all this, they then of course state first and foremost that the costs of fixing this will be __ to extremely high amounts and they'll have to "prove" I didn't break the vehicle intentionally...
