After the 3 year warranty expired about year 4 the blue crush paint started to split open then huge chips appear all over the hood of my car. Toyota has had a case open and when I didn't hear back months later I was told it was closed. I've since opened two more and they keep closing them stating it's out of the 3 year warranty. Toyota will not admit this is a paint defect. I have flaking as well along the crevices of the doors and truck. My car looks so bad now, I have yellowish huge dots peppered all over the hood. Toyota is culpable and negligent in making their customers whole.

I was a brand advocate and this is my third Toyota but never again. I even had it visually inspected by Toyota Collision center and the manager emailed one of the case managers and he stated this is a paint defect, with an itemized list of repairs to Toyota Corporate and they never emailed him back. I called and they again closed the case. I believe Toyota does not care are their customer who trusted them with thousands of dollars. Do not buy a Toyota. They do not stand by their products. There is a reasonable expectation that when you buy a car brand new, that you are also buying an expectation that the paint is not going to start chipping off on year 4 to the point that it looks like your car is peppered with yellow dots. It's completely embarrassing and I will never buy another Toyota again. About 7 hours, 3 case managers, later and no one cares.

I have a 2015 Toyota Corolla, the paint started peeling by the hood and trunk sides earlier this year and when I had it serviced yesterday, with a free car-wash...the paint chipping was even worse. It started on the inside of the front hood, now its showing even more peeling, stretching over the left fender. I'm no longer under warranty and there isn't much I can do. The dealership gen. manager said that they've been getting 2015 & 2016 Corollas with paint chipping off at least once a month. He also pointed out that the windshield for the 2015s & 2016s begin to feather, not sure what that means, but he said there wasn't much he could do for me. He suggested I contact Toyota Corporate. Anyone experiencing this? Any solutions?

Bought a 2015 US manufactured Toyota Corolla and after 6 months the paint is peeling off.

The local dealership is telling me that little rocks hitting the bumper fragilize the paint and since they use cheap water based paint it is to be expected.

Never had that problem on my 2004 and 2011 Corollas nor on my 2010 RAV 4 that I drive on the same roads!

Waiting on a answer from Toyota customer service.

First of all the Toyota website is not working & not accepting computer complaints.

Overall I like my 2015 Toyota S, so it's a little disheartening to see the paint peeling off the front bumper & hood of a fairly new car. I've ownede many, many new cars and this has never happened to any of them.
