Toyota has a current recall for fuel pump failures but does not include my model and year. There are other Toyota vehicles included from 2015 and Corollas included but not 2015. However on 12/27/2019 my fuel pump failed while my vehicle was parked in my garage. The car wouldn't start. On 12/28/2019 my fuel pump was replaced for $1,680.26. I am hoping that with your intervention, my vehicle could be included in the recall so I can be reimbursed the $1,680.26. Being disabled and on social security, the $1,680.26 is a significant expense that I would like to be reimbursed. The local Toyota dealership and Toyota corporate have denied my request for reimbursement. Thank you for your help. I hope you and your family are staying well during this difficult time.
