Firstly when the engine is selecting a gear, it makes a loud noise.

Secondly, the power output of the engine when I rev it to climb a culvert or a bump of about 10 inches is very poor. Most times the engine will rev up and make a loud sound and will still be at a spot without climbing the culvert or the bump. At times it might just crawl and manage to climb past the bump.
