Shortly after purchasing my vehicle I noticed that the push button start system was erratic. Though I follow the exact same recommended protocol every time I start my car, sometime the vehicle will start on the first push, & sometimes the first push does nothing but engage the dashboard to start-up (like a keyed system that was just partially engaged without actually starting engine), but then requires a second push to actually start the vehicle.
