When windows are rolled down massive wind buffeting/noise can be heard while driving at speeds greater than 20mph. This happens even when only one, two or all four windows are rolled down. The noise can be described as a low pitch 'throbbing' and is similar to what someone might experience (in most cars) when one window has been rolled down a short way while traveling at high speeds (e.g. freeway speeds): it's that buffeting/throbbing indicative of a vortex being created in the car. --With the Corolla Hatchback this buffeting happens at much lower speed with any amount of windows and the windows rolled down any distance (1/4, half or all the way down). I drive with the AC on and the windows rolled up most hot days due to this buffeting.
