This has occurred an average of 5 times per month ever since car was bought. (Bought car on 8-1-23)
Brought it to dealer and dealer spent 10 minutes looking at it and could not replicate problem.
My guess is the sensor in the shifter is not responding to the signal from the brake because I have the brake depressed continually and on the first press of the shifter button , the shifter remains locked in place, then on the second press the shifter then moves from the lock position. My foot never comes off the brake.
