The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Highlander. The contact stated that after leaving the key fob in the ignition, she walked around the back of the vehicle after securing a child in the child safety seat when the doors locked independently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the key fob had a low battery and caused the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileage was 100,700. Updated 3/25/14
