The contact owns a 2012 Toyota Highlander. The contact stated that the male seat belt connector failed to connect into the female connector. The seat belt indicator was illuminated. The dealer diagnosed that the female seat belt connector failed and needed to be replaced. The seat belt connector was replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
