When speaking to someone on the phone using the bluetooth connection in the car, the person you're speaking with hears their own voice echo back to them. I drive often for work and am frequently on the phone. It's extremely annoying for whomever you're speaking with on the phone.

When someone receives a call from the hand free option, or when someone calls a phone connected by blue tooth to the vehicle, the external caller received a terrible echo. Functionally, the blue tooth microphone picks up the external caller's sound from the Toyota speakers and plays it back to the caller. About a 2 second delay. You speak to the hands free operator and then you hear your voice repeat back to you. Driver of the vehicle does not experience this, only the external party. How & why this is a problem only for Toyota? Also, no fix has been proposed this this well recognized problem.
