Highlander Limited 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,000 miles

This vehicle was bought new in April 2018. Around September of 2019 we started noticing a Cracking/Popping sound seeming to come from the undercarriage of the car, seemingly from under the drivers seat, as well as the passenger seat and then sometimes you cannot tell where it came from, but you will NEVER mistake the “CRACK SOUND”!! It sounds like Metal Fatique when torque is exerted, when turning Left or Right on uneven surfaces. You don’t have to listen hard for this noise. It’s a “LOUD CRACK”, and one would say, “What the Hell was That?!! The Toyota Dealer was unable to diagnose this problem. After finding this sight and reading about all the similar problems people have written about their Camry’s, I find it difficult to believe they have never heard this. I was told these were dependable vehicles by many people. One does not have to look hard to spot them on the highway and someone has had to experience this problem. If you have, please reply. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
