My 2022 Highlander loses all engine power usually when making a left turn for about 7 seconds, pushing on the gas pedal has absolutely no effect, sometimes flooring the pedal will make the vehicle get going. The engine doesn't die out it just simply will not respond . It sometimes momentarily loses power going straight too. This is a serious and dangerous problem especially when you need to get out of the way of oncoming cars.
The dealer cannot duplicate the problem.
I had a 2017 Highlander with the very same problem, and they could not find the problem on that vehicle either.
When I traded my 17 in on the 22 highlander I thought there would not be the same problem. My mistake.. My next vehicle will definitely not be a Toyota.
