Highlander Hybrid 3.3L V6

I went on vacation and left the car for 6 weeks in the garage,2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid 3.3L V6. when I came back the battery was dead so I charged it with the jumper cables but ever since after that.. the car doesn't start until after I try several times, sometimes right after the car starts, this light pops up that says " SVC system needs check" Anyone familiar with this?

Highlander Hybrid Limited 3.3L V6

Car has been driving fine and then it sat in my garage for 5 days due to the blizzard on the East Coast. I tried to start it this morning and the dash board lit up, the engine and battery lights, slip indicator light, brake system light and headlights all came on. Car refuses to start. The symptoms seem to be identical to what is described in the 2011 (#11V342000) and 2013 (#13V39600) recalls involving the inverter in the hybrid propulsion system. I get my service done religiously at a Toyota dealership and this recall was never mentioned to me nor have I received notices of these recalls.

Highlander Hybrid

This car has 16,000 miles. Right from the beginning the problem began. The batteries have been changed a number of times. The last time Perry Motors in Bishop, Ca fully charged the battery. I left, made a stop at a store a mile away, then drove another mile, made a stop, came out and the car wouldn't start. I spend a short period of time in Sun City Az, and while there I either had the car towed or had to call for help 15 times. This does not include the times in San Diego or Bishop that I have taken the car to Toyota dealers for the same problem. I basically pay for insurance and licenses for a car I have not driven for the past two years. I paid $38,000 for this car and it is a piece of junk. Talked with Toyota today, and they basically told me too bad.

Toyota's answer is that I need to drive the car every day. When I was driving it everyday, the same thing happened. I am a senior citizen. It is very hot in the summer and very cold in winter where I live. I no longer have the physical ability to walk long distances if my car doesn't start. Beware, Toyota takes your money, and then to hell with you, the

customer.
