The brake actuator failed and I nearly rear ended a vehicle but pulled off to the side of the road before I hit them. Getting it fixed to the tune of $2100+ dollars. Could have easily caused an accident as the brakes totally failed. I had to put both feet on the pedal and push it to the ground before I finally stopped.

Even though they know the failure rate is 100%, and the same exact problem they recalled on the 2006-07 Highlander, and 08-09 Camrys. Toyota choose to wait for someone to die before extending the recall to 08-10 Highlanders. Tens of thousand of complaints.. doesn't matter. Mercedes had similar issue once... what they do...? 25 years unlimited mile warranty, that's what.

I called Toyota's local car services and Toyota Corp for help, but the only answer is no help whatsoever. They all said my car is out of warrantee(s), realizing the car is very low milage and ABS is not alway used when needed. I'm realizing Toyota does not care about safety of the drivers rather than their own pocket.
Finally, they play with people's lives - they only care about their pocket.
