I want Toyota to fix this on their dime not mine... Especially finding others who have this same problem... Was a Toyota owner for years... But once this is fixed... I will no longer be a Toyota owner!!

I own a 2008 Hybrid Highlander. In November of 2013, Toyota recalled the car and replaced the inverter. Up to that point, 79,000 miles, I had not had problems with the car. On September 6, 2015 the car died while I was driving. Had it towed 50 miles back to my local dealership. It took a week for them to diagnose the problem as the inverter. Yes, the new one placed less than 2 years prior. Now the mileage is 108,000. But only 30K on the new inverter. Cost to replace the part $8800. The Regional Service Manager offered to pay half. Corporate representative said their is nothing else Toyota can offer. WTF?!?! They took out a part that was not giving me trouble, and replaced with a part that broke in less than 2 years. And now they want me to spend $5000 to buy a third inverter, that I have no reason to believe will last another 2 years.
I am steamed and not sure where to turn or what to do. Any body else experience similar problems?
