Matrix XR 1.8L 4-cyl

Two years ago I told the Toyota dealer that the Airbag Indicator light on the Matrix goes on, stays on and goes off after a while. This would happen quite frequently, stop for a while and start again, sometimes the airbag light would stay on until the engine was shut off. ( Note: this is still going on at this time)

I was told that Toyota is working on a recall and that I would be notified. I have not heard anything not from the Dealer and not from Toyota. What can I do?
