Vehicle keeps stalling while driving if stopped at a light or stop sign or if mrps drop to low engine shuts off lights flicker and no check engine light has come on.

I have complained about the daytime running headlights in drive mode, I was told it was the new feature for this model. Can not switch lights until car is park mode, engine off. I have noticed when I had emergency brake on and started the engine, the lights where off until I released the brake and they came back on. There are times I need to have control to turn lights off at night that dont reflect on others while idling the car. It nice to have running lamps on for safety, but I should be able to turn them off when needed. Example: Drive in theatre. Had this problem from the day I purchase my car.
