i received in the mail today off a steering centre link problem found in my 1992 toyota pick up truck. now it says it is a possable fatigue crack in the steering link. thet tell me to take it to my nearest toyota deeler and they will fix it free off charge but when i called them they said that if they break other parts taking it off i will have to pay the cost. now im not going to get into a long e mail hear and a sob story all im going to say is that i have traveled many miles with my family and my grandchildren in my truck for many years and to think that at any moment i may have had a problem with my steering and may have lost my family in an accident. i set haveing a cup off tea tonight at my table watching my grandson playing savely on the floor (who i love to take to my camp) and to think that all this time something could have gone wrong with my steering and i might have got into an accident and he got hurt (or worse) and that puta a sick lump in my through. and then i think off what the toyota deeler said that if they break a part takeing a (FAULTY PART) off my truck in the first place makes me VERY UPSET) i have driven toyotas for many years and i always bragged them up (but how can i now) why should i have to pay for parts that get snaped off trying to get to your faulty parts. if this were you and you were sitting at my kitchen table watching your grandson playing and to think what could have happed wouldent you be saying the same thing i am?(yes you would) because you are human like the rest off us) and you would be upset by all this also.(be honest)its not the money as much as the fact that how dangerous a situation this could have been)dont let me have to pay for parts that are broken trying to get at yours. this is not fair. and really to be honest i just dont have the money right now (and thats the truth)please give the toyota deeler im going to tomorrow morning and tell them that you will go good for any parts that they break (let me keep saying that toyotas and there people are great)i put the truck in tomorrow mornin and they said they may keep it all day. i cant go hunting or do the things i had to do tomorrow now. im on shift work and its hard to get things done without a vehicle. this is a great inconvenience to me as it is. i think i have and will pay enough as it is for this problem. i am going to give you the number to call at the toyota deelers and i hope you are good enought to make that call and tell them there will be no charge to me either way. thank you for lissening and i hope you do what is the right thing to do.
