Pickup

  • Manual transmission
  • 70,000 miles

I have a 94 toyota pickup I have owned for the last 16 years I bought it with 43 000 miles on it It has less than 100000 miles on it. It was garaged most of the time I have owned it .The truck inside and out looks really nice( a lot of cleaning and waxing) and I have had people want to buy it from me BUT if you look at the frame it is junk the boxed frame has holes in it. I have owned two other toyota trucks before this generation of toyotas and the frames looked nothing like this one and they were not even well taken care of like this truck. This truck was never even taken off the blacktop.I do own a 1995 toyota celica with 300000 miles on the same transmission and motor and its not even rusted underneath or on the body and still keeps on going. At this moment I am returning back to where I belong in the first place - USA. I am looking at a Ford Ranger. I have only owned toyota 4wd when it came to trucks. I used to be a true toyota fan. Well so much for that.

I was driving down the road coming to a stop sign when I lost all control of the steering, had aaa tow it to a shop. They inspected it told the control arms and frame was rusted so bad there was nothing they could do with it. Toyota said they would not fix it since it only had 60,000 miles on it I pay 2000 to have the frame replaced! Now the frame is rusted so bad I'm afraid to drive it.I will never buy another Toyota again. The motor and drive train is still perfic
