The car sometimes after start-up will make a clicking noise when putting the car into reverse. Also, it makes a squeaking noise while moving backwards. The noise seems to come from the front of the car. It will happen randomly and generally after sitting for a while, although the dealer is not able to duplicate the noise.
Update from Jun 18, 2012: As far as I can tell, it might just be an imperfection of the brakes somehow. Doesn't appear to be anything according to the mechanic. It is a strange new sound although it might just be an imperfection of something.
Update from Jun 28, 2012: The clicking and squeaking turn out to be "normal," although the car jolts/slips after it has been on a while. It jolts going into reverse or drive. It almost feels like the transmission in a regular car, although I do realize it is CVT, so I am not sure if it is the transaxle . It also intermittently runs rough also.
Update from Jul 18, 2012: It is the normal operation of the car to "jolt" as I described. I think cleaning the MAF sensor did help a little, as my miles per gallon have gone significantly up, yet the mechanic found that this would happen more in the summer.

The car does not hold set speed when going down hills. Seems to be a Toyota problem my Lexus does the same thing. A mercedes would gear down and slow to set speed same as a KIa I rented.
