Called Toyota and was told they are replacing defective "sticky" dashes on some Toyota and Lexus models. Even though I have the same problem, with the dash, the Prius is not on the "recall" list, to fix/replace the dash. At this time, was told that Toyota will not help with this.

Toyota has a recall for replacing melting, sticky, oily dashboard.

I followed up with toyota and they say that since the prius is not on the list to be replaced they wont be able to do anything right now...
