Toyota will not replace this known problem. They say the enhanced warranty period has ended, but if the car was not having problems then, and is now, it should still be covered. I cannot afford this costly repair, but need a car to drive!

Prius

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,000 miles

On a smooth surface the anti-skid light, electric brake light and sometimes others come on and will stay on for awhile even after the engine is off. It is an intermittent problem. We have so far paid over $300.00 for testing purposes and a replacement 12v battery but nothing ever found after 3 trips to the dealer. I now have to wait for the lights to come on again then stop wherever I am going just to go back to the dealer. If this cannot be fixed then I will replace this car with something other than a Toyota.
